Description

Design and implement data architectures and ingestion pipelines within an AWS environment. Own the full lifecycle of data modeling, ETL operations, and BI visualization to support diverse reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to define and refine reporting requirements.
• Design data models using Snowflake or Star schemas to support analytical workloads.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using AWS Glue in coordination with development teams.
• Implement reports and dashboards by working alongside software developers.
• Manage large-scale data volumes and perform system tuning to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, specifically building Snowflake or Star schemas.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL operations, including AWS Glue.
• 5+ years of experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including Redshift, Athena, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• 1-2 years of experience with Python.
• Proven ability to work within Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Lambda, Kinesis Data Streams, and Firehose.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with NodeJS.
