Lead technical architecture and integration strategy for large-scale AMI deployments.

You will own the release pipeline

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable technical architecture blueprints and standardized integration patterns for AMI systems.
• Serve as the lead technical authority on strategic AMI system integration projects and pursuits.
• Provide hands-on technical oversight and expert guidance for active AMI projects.
• Mentor and upskill technical delivery teams through training programs and coaching.
• Ensure consistent delivery by creating scalable, repeatable methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technical architecture roles.
• Proven lead architect on at least one full-scale AMI deployment for a North American utility with 500K+ meters.
• Deep expertise in AMI domains: MDM, HES, CIS, OMS, GIS, and DERMS.
• Hands-on experience with AMI network architecture such as RF Mesh and LTE.
• Experience with major AMI vendors like Itron or Landis+Gyr.
• Proficiency in cloud platform integration using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with the full SDLC using Agile, SAFe, and waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
