Description

Develop analog and mixed-signal frameworks to model battery management module functionality, performance, and control loops.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Model analog and digital control loops for current and voltage regulation, focusing on stability and transient response.
• Develop behavioral models for subsystems including A/D converters, gate drivers, power FETs, fault detection circuitry, and state machines.
• Use behavioral and statistical simulation techniques to assess hardware compliance and quantify design margins.
• Integrate factory data and hardware build learnings into the modeling environment to improve predictive accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership in simulation methodologies, tools, and workflows across the Battery Hardware Engineering team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in chip top-level management or analog/mixed-signal design and verification.
• Proficiency with Verilog-AMS, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with AMS verification, including test case definition, execution management, and coverage analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IC design and simulation tools such as Virtuoso ADE, ADEXL, Ocean, Spectre, or Incisive/Xcelium.
• Programming and scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, TCL, or Skill for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, Monte-Carlo simulation, and product engineering limit setting using characterization data and Cpk.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• MS or PhD in a relevant field.
