Description

You will manage metadata processes across public, private, and on-premises environments to ensure integration with technical and business catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain metadata management processes across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Track data lineage, traceability, and compliance in collaboration with Data Architecture and Data Usage teams.
• Document technical specifications and support solution design within agile development and release cycles.
• Troubleshoot metadata and lineage issues to maintain stable operations and improve data accessibility.
• Monitor metadata effectiveness KPIs and assist in assessing risks to strengthen governance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in data management, specifically metadata, governance, or lineage.
• Exposure to cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data cataloging tools such as AWS Glue Data Catalog, AbInitio, or Collibra.
• Proficiency in data lineage tracking tools like Apache Atlas, AbInitio, or Collibra.
• Understanding of data integration technologies including ETL, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and data query languages.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty.
• Experience with AbInitio Metahub development, including importers, extractors, and graph development.
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, Stonebranch, Oracle, Hive, and Collibra.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks like EDMCC, DCAM, or GDPR.
