Description

You will manage incidents, maintain mainframe systems, and support internal teams with technical expertise.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and document system anomalies to propose corrective actions.
• Monitor IT systems and tools to ensure proper functioning and prevent escalation.
• Assist internal teams in diagnosing complex issues within mainframe environments.
• Develop and update operational procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge bases.
• Coordinate with reliability teams, vendors, and business users to resolve incidents.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in COBOL and DB2 within mainframe environments.
• Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex IT systems.
• Ability to monitor system performance and detect malfunctions early.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational guides.
• Strong logical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• Professional-level English communication skills.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation in IT support processes.
• Familiarity with monitoring frameworks and proactive alerting systems.
