You will analyze and resolve application issues to improve stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends by debugging code or analyzing logs.
• Manage incidents and communicate effectively with users, application owners, and senior stakeholders.
• Advise on permanent fixes by observing failures and root causes in production.
• Utilize engineering tools to automate failure notification and health restoration.
• Build and improve runbooks to minimize operational errors and increase efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in application support or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of Structured or Object Oriented programming languages: Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP, or Angular.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell script, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with RDBMS environments: Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2.
• Ability to observe patterns, analyze root cause, and suggest resolution ideas in a production environment.
• Capability to learn and troubleshoot proprietary technologies.
