Description

You will manage the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of analytical laboratory instrumentation. You will own the instrument inventory, documentation, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for LC, HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, FTIR, Moisture Titrator, UV, and Spectrophotometer instruments.
• Conduct investigations into equipment failures and implement technical solutions.
• Develop and implement instrument maintenance schedules, SOPs, and calibration protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage instrument inventory and maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance and calibration activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, procurement, and AMC management, while assessing vendor performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in analytical instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and Prep.HPLC.
• Proficiency with UPLC and LC-MS systems.
• Experience operating FTIR and UV-Vis Spectrophotometers.
• Technical knowledge of Moisture Titrators.
• Ability to develop SOPs and calibration protocols.
• Experience with instrument validation and installation processes.
• Background in managing vendor relationships and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
