Description

You will own the maintenance, calibration, and technical support for the laboratory's analytical instrumentation portfolio. You ensure equipment uptime through proactive troubleshooting and strict adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for LC, HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, FTIR, Moisture Titrator, UV, and Spectrophotometer instruments.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective solutions to minimize operational downtime.
• Develop and implement instrument maintenance schedules, SOPs, and calibration protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage instrument documentation, maintenance logs, and a comprehensive inventory of all laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, procurement, and the management of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in analytical instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on expertise with HPLC, Prep.HPLC, and UPLC systems.
• Proficiency with LC-MS and FTIR instrumentation.
• Experience operating Moisture Titrators, UV, and Spectrophotometers.
• Ability to develop SOPs and calibration protocols.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Strong documentation skills for audit readiness and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience assisting in the selection, installation, and validation of new analytical instrumentation.
