- Build, deploy, and maintain GTM (Web) containers including tags, triggers, variables, consent checks, and folder/workspace organization.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define and implement a scalable data layer (covering event taxonomy, parameters, naming conventions, and documentation).
- Configure and administer GA4 event tracking, conversions, cross-domain measurement, referral exclusions, and basic attribution hygiene.
- Troubleshoot tagging and data issues using Tag Assistant and browser developer tools; perform root-cause analysis and execute fixes.
- Support measurement for CM360, including Floodlight configuration/validation and alignment with trafficking and campaign requirements.
- Assist with conversion alignment across DV360 and SA360, ensuring consistent naming, IDs, and reporting definitions.
- Create and execute tagging QA test plans for releases and campaigns across multiple environments, devices, and browsers.
- Maintain a complete tracking plan, tag inventory, data dictionary, and change log while enforcing strict release/version control.
- Implement consent-aware tagging patterns (CMP integrations, Consent Mode) to ensure regional data privacy compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong working experience with GA4 event modeling, conversion setups, and reporting validation.
- Experience supporting the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) ecosystem, specifically CM360 and Floodlight configurations.
- Solid understanding of web measurement fundamentals, including cookies, browser storage, request/response behavior, and tracking constraints (ITP/ETP, ad blockers).
- Excellent technical documentation skills and the ability to communicate tracking logic to both technical developers and marketing stakeholders.
