Description

You will build, code, and maintain applications and modules while managing system administration for cloud environments. You own the full lifecycle from design to deployment, ensuring systems meet user needs and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and code applications, modules, and web or mobile interfaces using Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.
• Design system capabilities, technical specifications, and operating instructions for new and existing systems.
• Perform application-level patching and system administration for cloud applications.
• Automate software delivery and infrastructure changes in collaboration with DevOps and cybersecurity teams.
• Develop test plans and participate in user testing to drive system design improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application programming and system design.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages.
• Strong backend programming skills using SQL.
• Experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripts and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to manage database design and system administration.
• Experience with Jenkins and Puppet.
• Proven ability to document software development and technical specifications.
• Ability to obtain an interim security clearance; active Secret clearance is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools including Tableau and PowerBI.
