Description

You will build and enhance Android AAOS for automotive platforms, focusing on System UI and framework-level integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and enhance System UI for Android-based automotive platforms, including custom UI components and themes for in-vehicle displays.
• Implement custom UI components and themes, ensuring UI consistency, accessibility, and adherence to design guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AAOS applications with vehicle systems.
• Optimize framework-based code for performance and memory efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Android Framework APIs and low-level services like LauncherApps, PackageManager, ActivityManager, and WindowManager.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Hands-on experience with Android AOSP development, including custom ROMs or deep platform changes.
• Familiarity with System UI development: Launcher, Widgets, Shortcuts, Recents, and Notifications.
• Experience with Car Service System UI Development.
• Experience with Android Studio and Git.
