Description

You will develop and maintain native Android applications for the Google Play Store.

Responsibilities

• Build native Android apps using Java 8 and RX Java in production.
• Integrate applications with REST and JSON web services.
• Implement UIs following Android Material Design and HIG best practices.
• Manage the full publishing process for the Google Play Store.
• Maintain data persistence using Realm or SQLite.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
• Proficiency with Java 8 and RX Java.
• Experience with REST and JSON web services.
• Knowledge of Dagger and design patterns (MVP, Singleton, Factory).
• Experience with Android Studio and Android Material Design.
• Understanding of Android HIG and UI development best practices.
• Experience with data persistence frameworks such as Realm or SQLite.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Retrofit and Google Play Services.
• Experience with Android Auto.
