Description

You will design, develop, and integrate software components for Android TV (AOSP) and Linux-based STB platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate software components for Android TV (AOSP) and Linux-based STB platforms.
• Customize and optimize the Android system for specific SoC platforms including Amlogic, Broadcom, MediaTek, and Realtek.
• Port and migrate AOSP, ensuring compatibility and performance across various devices.
• Develop HIDL and native services, contributing to vendor/system service development.
• Customize the Android framework and system, focusing on SoC SDKs/HAL integration.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development.
• Knowledge of Android framework customization and middleware development.
• Experience with Android TV or Linux-based Set-Top Box (STB) platforms.
• Understanding of SoC platforms such as Amlogic, Broadcom, MediaTek, and Realtek.
• Experience with HIDL and native service development.
• Familiarity with HAL integration and vendor SDK customization.
• Knowledge of Android multimedia frameworks, MediaCodec, and AV pipelines.
• Experience with Android debugging and performance optimization tools.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java for Android development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience utilizing Android Profiler, Perfetto, ftrace, and Heapprofd for troubleshooting.
