Description

Lead the technical architecture and development of complex Android applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable mobile architectures using MVVM and proven patterns.
• Debug complex issues including memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and threading problems.
• Optimize application performance using ADB and Proguard.
• Develop custom views and implement advanced background processing APIs.
• Ensure code testability and adherence to Material Design guidelines.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Android development.
• Deep proficiency with Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Strong experience with Git and Continuous Integration workflows.
• Proven expertise in consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, Picasso, and RxJava.
• Advanced knowledge of multi-threading and object-oriented programming.
• Practical experience with functional and reactive programming paradigms.
• Hands-on work with Android Architecture Components and Gson.
• Experience managing and developing two or more Android apps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Accessibility Services.
• History of publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
