Description

You will lead the technical direction for native Android applications and commercial SDKs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead Android architecture initiatives for new and existing mobile applications and SDKs.
• Produce High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documentation for assigned projects.
• Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to validate architectures end-to-end.
• Contribute to the codebase and perform thorough PR reviews to enforce coding standards and security guidelines.
• Debug and resolve complex customer issues involving networking, multi-threading, and on-device storage.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Android App architecture.
• Expertise in building native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Proven experience developing and releasing commercial Android SDKs for third-party integration.
• Deep understanding of mobile client architectures such as MVVM or MVP.
• Strong knowledge of Android security issues and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with networking protocols, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with open-source and commercial Android libraries.
• Knowledge of on-device storage implementation.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
