Description

Lead the technical direction and implementation of native Android applications in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable mobile applications using SOLID and clean architecture principles.
• Debug complex issues including memory leaks and performance bottlenecks using ADB and Proguard.
• Develop advanced UI components using Custom Views and Jetpack Compose.
• Manage background processing, accessibility services, and multi-threading requirements.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage network layers using industry-standard libraries.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Expertise in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design guidelines.
• Proficiency in object-oriented, functional, and reactive programming paradigms.
• Deep knowledge of Retrofit, OkHttp, RxJava, Glide, Picasso, and Gson.
• Experience with Android Architecture Components.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading and concurrency.
• Proficiency with Git and Continuous Integration workflows.
• Ability to consume and validate RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing the lifecycle of two or more concurrent Android applications.
