Description

You will develop and maintain automated tests for a customer-facing eComm Android application.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated UI tests using the Espresso framework and Kotlin.
• Design and implement maintainable test cases and test data management strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Analyze and debug automation issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers within an Agile environment to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines, null safety, and OOP principles.
• In-depth knowledge of the Espresso framework and its APIs for UI interaction and assertions.
• Strong understanding of Android development concepts, including Activities, Fragments, Views, and the Android lifecycle.
• Experience with Android Studio IDE for project setup, debugging, and navigation.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with Git for version control, branching, and repository management.
• Solid understanding of automated testing principles, including test execution and reporting.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
