Description

You will build low-level Android backend components and C/C++ systems for a new smartwatch project, including on-device machine learning deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level Android backend components and interface with sensor frameworks.
• Implement and deploy machine learning algorithms directly on Android devices.
• Write and maintain high-performance code using C/C++.
• Integrate ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in C/C++ development.
• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK with a focus on backend and low-level systems.
• Experience deploying machine learning algorithms in Android environments.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or general Machine Learning implementation.
• Strong background in non-UI Android development.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working on smartwatch projects or sensor frameworks.
• Prior experience at Meta.
