Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Implement unit, integration, and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
• Apply clean architecture, modularization, and test-driven development practices.
• Monitor app performance, resolve bugs, and optimize using Android Studio Profiler.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with deep understanding of Android SDK and lifecycle.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVP/MVI architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SQLite, Room DB, and data persistence.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices including secure storage and encryption.
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record of maintaining apps for 3+ years.
