Description

You will own the technical direction and delivery of Android applications, leading migrations to modern stacks and defining technical trade-offs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve scalable Android architectures.
• Lead migrations from legacy structures to modern Android stacks, including XML to Jetpack Compose.
• Define and defend technical trade-offs regarding quality, speed, and maintainability.
• Enforce coding standards, testing procedures, and CI/CD reliability.
• Debug complex application issues like ANRs, crashes, and concurrency problems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Expert proficiency in Kotlin, with Java experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack components (Compose, ViewModel, Room, WorkManager).
• Experience implementing modern architectures such as MVVM or MVI.
• Proficiency with Coroutines, Flow, and advanced threading/performance optimization.
• Experience building offline-first applications and managing complex data flows.
• Familiarity with Dependency Injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin).
• Skills in integrating secure APIs and third-party SDKs.
