Contract Android Developer role in Ann Arbor, MI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Ensure application quality through rigorous testing and technical support.
• Integrate third-party SDKs and maintain CI/CD/deployment pipelines.
• Apply UI/UX principles to build intuitive user interfaces.
• Manage technical documentation using Confluence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of strong proficiency in Android app development using Java.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture components.
• 3+ years of recent experience applying UI/UX principles and best practices.
• 3+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and managing continuous integration/deployment processes.
• 1+ years of experience with the Atlassian Suite, specifically deep knowledge of Confluence capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack, MVVM, RxJava, Retrofit, and Dagger 2.
• Experience maintaining Android application features within a product environment.
