Description

You will design, develop, and maintain native Android applications for phones and tablets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize user experiences.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality via CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues to maintain performance and availability.
• Mentor junior developers and document technical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing large-scale Android applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDKs, and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with GitHub and enterprise-level branching strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and debugging techniques.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and mobile security.
• Experience with accessibility features and performance/memory debugging.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building modular native features and exposure to Android NDK.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
