Description

You will build and maintain scalable Android applications as an active contributor to an agile scrum team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirement gathering and design to coding and automated testing.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, performant code.
• Partner with the Application Development Manager and Scrum Master to estimate tasks and break down complex features.
• Solve difficult technical challenges and lead the team toward successful delivery.
• Fix bugs and optimize application performance and responsiveness.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in Android application development.
• High proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android platform building blocks, including Fragments, Activities, Services, and Content Providers.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Deep knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Experience with unit testing to ensure code robustness and edge-case handling.
• Familiarity with continuous integration processes.
