Description

You will develop and maintain Android applications for automotive infotainment systems, focusing on stability, performance, and clean architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Android apps using Java and Kotlin for automotive environments.
• Implement robust architectures including MVP, MVVM, and Observer patterns.
• Debug complex issues using logcat, ADB, and other Android diagnostic tools.
• Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and the Android SDK into existing codebases.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and automate testing workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Android development experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android components, lifecycle, and framework internals.
• Proficiency in debugging with logcat, ADB, and Android Studio IDE.
• Strong grasp of OOPS concepts and design patterns (MVP, MVVM).
• Experience with Gradle, Android Makefiles, and build configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and version control (Gerrit).
• Experience with AOSP build systems is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with the AOSP build system and Gerrit code review.
• Knowledge of automotive infotainment system constraints and requirements.
