Description

You will design and develop Android applications, SDKs, and services for vehicle Head Units and in-car voice assistant integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build user-facing experiences and system-level integrations optimized for automotive Head Units.
• Translate voice assistant workflows into interactive UIs and Android services in collaboration with product teams.
• Implement communication layers between the Android app, voice engines, and cloud APIs.
• Manage asynchronous tasks and background thread execution efficiently using Android concurrency tools.
• Take end-to-end ownership of feature implementation, from design to deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development projects.
• Proficiency in Java (mandatory) and basic to intermediate C++.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with Android project structure, Gradle build systems, and design patterns (MVVM/MVC).
• Experience with threading models, background tasks, and performance tuning.
• Strong debugging skills using ADB, logcat, and Android Profiler.
• Knowledge of Android service lifecycle, broadcast receivers, and custom views.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
