Description

You will design, build, and ship e-commerce applications for the Android platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship new features in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across the user experience.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code organization and automation.
• Lead and mentor junior developers and delegate technical tasks.
• Manage the full application submission and provisioning process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and the JDK.
• Expert knowledge of the Android SDK and Android platform.
• Advanced Android UI skills, including Fragments and custom view components.
• Experience writing multi-threaded and networked applications.
• Expert-level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
• Experience designing and developing a complete Android app from start to finish.
• Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio.
• Experience with web services as they relate to mobile apps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenGL, the NDK, or high-performance graphics code.
• Experience with protocol buffers.
