Description

You will build and scale enterprise-grade Android applications for a global user base.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Android applications from early development through to the Google Play Store.
• Design clean, maintainable APIs and manage large, complex codebases.
• Implement multi-threading, memory management, and caching mechanisms optimized for mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot issues within a distributed services ecosystem.
• Influence technical decisions across multiple teams and present architectural ideas to senior management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, design patterns, and object-oriented software development.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency with Dagger 2 and RxJava.
• Experience with Android Architecture Components and Dependency Injection.
• Knowledge of functional programming and Firebase.
• Practical application of CI/CD principles.
• Strong grasp of unit testing, security standards, and documentation practices within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience researching and benchmarking new technologies against existing industry standards.
