Description

You will develop and maintain Android applications for embedded units with direct hardware integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications for embedded Android units.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with custom electronics.
• Debug existing applications to improve stability and performance.
• Build new applications for upcoming hardware platforms.
• Communicate with hardware via USB and support outbound communication to cloud systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Java and the Android SDK.
• Proficiency using ADB and working on rooted Android devices.
• Hands-on experience with USB communication and hardware integration.
• Deep understanding of Android app structure, activity/service lifecycle, and app deployment.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTTP, and WebSockets.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud-connected Android apps.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design tools including Photoshop, Figma, or Illustrator.
