Description

Job Responsibilities include:

Design and develop Android middleware components and background services to support platform-level functionality and system performance.

Debug, analyze, and resolve complex Android platform stability issues across framework, native, and vendor layers using AOSP source code.

Diagnose and fix system-level issues involving Activity Manager, Window Manager, Package Manager, Surface Flinger, and other Android services.

Investigate and resolve boot failures, black screen issues, ANRs (Application Not Responding), and other critical platform defects.

Support Android platform upgrades and integrations, ensuring stability, reliability, and compatibility across releases.

Perform root cause analysis, provide technical direction for complex issues, and resolve compliance test failures across CTS, VTS, ATS, and STS frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

3+ years of hands-on Android platform/framework development experience.

Strong experience with Android platform internals, AOSP source code, and development using Kotlin, Java, and C.

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Android platform stability issues across framework, native services, and vendor layers
