Description

Build and maintain Android applications for internal engineering teams, focusing on equipment deployment and work instruction management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and support mobile platform components and Android applications.
• Partner with product management and UX to design, test, and launch mobile apps.
• Investigate design approaches, prototype technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Adopt engineering best practices for design, testing, version control, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Android development.
• Experience with REST API integration and documentation.
• Ability to implement UI designs from Figma.
• Understanding of architectural patterns including MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in design patterns, reliability, and system scaling.
• Experience with version control and code reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of iOS application development.
