You will build and maintain high-quality Android applications from design to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate wireframes and designs into high-quality Java or Kotlin code.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable code while ensuring application responsiveness and performance.
• Identify, debug, and correct bottlenecks and software bugs.
• Release production-ready code to the Google Play Store.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing Android applications.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience building and shipping fully functional apps to the Google Play Store.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Google’s interface guidelines.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces like touch.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kotlin.
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails.
