Description

You will build, execute, and improve mobile engineering projects within an agile Scrum environment. You own the lifecycle from discovery through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices.
• Support the implementation of business solutions and provide mobile engineering support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Proven experience with Android software development and Java.
• Mandatory published Android application.
• Experience with mobile network clients using HTTP protocol, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Proficiency with distributed source code version control using Git/GitHub.
• Experience with software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Knowledge of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
