You will lead Android development and application performance engineering efforts.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-level software systems using Java.
• Lead development teams and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Optimize Android application performance and efficiency.
• Implement and integrate RESTful services and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building production-level software.
• Expert knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Extensive experience with Java and object-oriented programming.
• Proven track record in application performance engineering.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Firebase.
• Solid understanding of mobile networking concepts and tools.
• Working knowledge of RESTful services.
• Experience in a developer lead capacity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience specifically optimizing Android app performance.
