Description

Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Android applications for global deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop native mobile applications using enterprise-grade patterns and systems integration.
• Manage the full application lifecycle from initial design through to global deployment.
• Integrate Android applications with backend services using RESTful APIs and various interface types.
• Optimize consumer applications through performance profiling and tuning.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions to executives and business partners.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and the Android SDK.
• Proficiency with SQLite and Google Volley.
• Strong understanding of dynamic data formats including JSON and XML.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP interfaces.
• Knowledge of client/server application architectures.
• Experience with modeling tools and languages such as UML.
• Understanding of cloud identities and authorization standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
