Description

You will build and maintain native Android applications using Java and Kotlin within a formal Systems Development Life Cycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build native UIs using Jetpack Compose and manage application, activity, and fragment lifecycles.
• Implement asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines and handle networking via Retrofit.
• Apply MVVM architectural patterns to structure technical solutions.
• Execute testing using JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and Hamcrest.
• Manage code optimization and obfuscation using Proguard/R8.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including Kotlin DSL for build scripts.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
• Hands-on use of Android Studio.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Understanding of SDLC processes.
• Ability to work within SAFe Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced training or certification in computer science or information technology.
• Experience leading, guiding, and mentoring professional staff.
