Build and maintain Android applications in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement features and improve user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to enhance application performance.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and document technical processes for maintenance.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android versions, and screen size adaptation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and Git version control.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Google interface guidelines.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of MVVM architecture, data binding, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Google Play services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of mobile application security best practices.
