Description

You will develop low-level Android components for automotive infotainment systems, focusing on HAL implementation and OS security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement custom Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) for Radio, Vehicle, Audio, and GNSS.
• Manage communication between Android applications and vehicle sensors and signals.
• Execute Android OS migrations and manage Android security implementations.
• Develop Android applications using web frameworks within an automotive context.
• Conduct testing and validation using Android CTS and VTS frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C++ (including STL, Templates, Exceptions, and Threading).
• Deep experience with Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) development.
• Expertise in Android CTS/VTS testing.
• Strong knowledge of Android Framework, Car Service, Android Treble, VNDK, AIDL, and HIDL.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience in the Automotive domain, specifically Android Automotive.
• Knowledge of Component/System Design using SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Android security, SELinux, FBE, and FDE.
