Description

You will build and optimize native Android applications, translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design applications around natural user interfaces and touch interactions.
• Implement offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Benchmark and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience handling diverse screen sizes and resolutions.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles and patterns.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledge of sensor integration, including gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Proficiency in using the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Ability to manage performance tuning and benchmarking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hardware sensor integration for specialized mobile tasks.
