Description

You will design, code, and maintain Android mobile applications, managing their submission to app stores.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Android features using object-oriented programming and industry best practices.
• Develop user interfaces and integrate applications with REST-based web services.
• Manage build automation using Jenkins and maintain source code via Git.
• Perform code analysis for sprint stories and defects, providing recommendations for fixes.
• Lead project activities by interacting with clients and supporting offshore teams with technical queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development and the software development life cycle.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Android SDK (version 20 and above).
• Experience with RESTful Web Services, Swagger API, and JSON data formats.
• Hands-on experience with Git and JIRA.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and support mobile application development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and secure file storage on devices.
• Experience working within Agile project environments and global delivery models.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid/multi-platform applications using PhoneGap or Cordova.
• Knowledge of libraries such as Retrofit, Butterknife, Mockito, and RxJava/RxAndroid.
