Description

You will develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into functional, high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable and performant Java code.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure application responsiveness and maintain code organization and automation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Experience with different Android versions and handling varied screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Google's interface guidelines.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design for natural user interfaces, including touch and sensor integration (gyroscope, accelerometer).
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with continuous integration.
