Description

Develop and maintain Android applications for sports analytics, integrating hardware sensors and managing scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build functional Android applications by translating user requirements into technical implementations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin code while conducting code reviews to ensure quality.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and hardware sensor integration, including Bluetooth and Camera APIs.
• Perform thorough unit and integration testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring application stability.
• Collaborate with the CTO to research and manage a scalable sports analytics solution.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Android frameworks such as Room and RecyclerView.
• Strong understanding of background processes, hardware sensors, and native APIs.
• Solid knowledge of application architecture, design patterns, and Android design principles.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to structure applications for various screen sizes and orientations.
• Experience with benchmarking and optimization techniques.
