Description

You will develop and support Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and RxJava.
• Consume RESTful JSON APIs and WebSockets to integrate web services.
• Collaborate with design and iOS teams using Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Document planning and implementation processes in Jira and Confluence.
• Utilize AI-driven tools like GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering to optimize code quality and debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Deep expertise in Java and proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience with RxJava and Android DevTools.
• Strong knowledge of consuming RESTful JSON APIs and WebSockets.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Strong skills in design, data structures, problem-solving, and debugging.
• Experience using AI-driven development tools and prompt engineering.
• Adherence to Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern architectures like MVVM or MVI.
• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries such as LiveData and ViewModel.
• Exposure to Firebase or other cloud-based services.
