Description

You will design and build e-commerce applications for the Android platform. You own the end-to-end application lifecycle from initial design to Play Store submission.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features within a scrum process.
• Identify, debug, and fix performance bottlenecks and software defects.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards.
• Lead and mentor junior developers by delegating tasks and providing technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Expert knowledge of Java, JDK, and the Android SDK.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Rest API, and GraphQL.
• Advanced Android UI skills including Fragments and custom view components.
• Experience building multi-threaded and networked applications.
• Expert-level debugging and analysis using ADB.
• Deep understanding of Android UI paradigms from Gingerbread to Oreo.
• Experience with protocol buffers and web services for mobile.
• Expert use of IntelliJ or Android Studio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenGL, NDK, or high-performance graphics code.
• Background in retail or e-commerce customer-facing applications.
