Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile software and ecommerce applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and business bugs on mobile devices.
• Develop, execute, and improve technical action plans.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Android software development with Java.
• Published Android application on a public store.
• Experience with MVVM, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Development of mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Analysis of memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
• Unit and integration testing of Android code.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
