Description

You will own the full lifecycle of mobile engineering projects, from discovery through implementation, ensuring scalable solutions for ecommerce and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects end-to-end, including debugging production issues and memory leaks.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development within a Scrum framework.
• Develop and maintain mobile network clients using HTTP protocols and REST APIs.
• Provide direct mobile engineering support to the business, resolving technical blockers promptly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable Android applications, with at least one published app.
• Proficiency in Java and deep knowledge of mobile software development practices.
• Experience with distributed source code version control using Git or GitHub.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience debugging with tools like DDMS, MAT, loggers, and crash report systems.
• Familiarity with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Background in embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Messaging.
