Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile software and e-commerce applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and address business requirements for mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software lifecycle management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.
• Expertise in Android software development using Java.
• Proven track record with a published Android application.
• Experience with mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Proficiency with Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Skill in debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory leaks and issues using DDMS or MAT.
• Experience working with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL, AWS, and Node.js.
