Senior Android Developer responsible for building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop readable, maintainable, and performant object-oriented code using MVVM, MVVM Clean, ViewModels, and Repository design patterns.
• Implement background processing using Android SDK Services and Coroutines.
• Integrate remote data via REST, JSON, GraphQL, and the HTTP protocol.
• Manage the full mobile development life cycle from implementation to deployment.
• Utilize Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Gradle build tools and lint.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with REST, JSON, and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Messaging and Google Cloud services.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Must provide a link to a published app.
