You will own the full lifecycle of mobile engineering projects, from discovery through implementation, while troubleshooting production issues and supporting business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices.
• Support the implementation of mobile engineering solutions for the business.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.
• Proven experience with Android software development and a published Android application.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with mobile network clients using HTTP protocol and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Expertise in design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with distributed source code version control using Git/GitHub.
• Proficiency in software debugging techniques using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
• Competency in unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Experience working within the Scrum agile methodology.
