Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile software and e-commerce applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and business-critical bugs on mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide mobile engineering support to solve business problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.
• Proven experience with Android software development and a published Android application.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Experience developing mobile network clients using HTTP protocol and REST APIs.
• Experience with Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with software debugging, loggers, crash report tools, and memory analyzers (DDMS, MAT) to resolve memory leaks.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Experience working within the Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
