You will own mobile engineering projects from discovery through production, ensuring scalable solutions for our platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from initial discovery to final completion.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development cycles.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues across various mobile devices.
• Support the implementation of business solutions using mobile engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.
• Strong proficiency in Android software development using Java.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Familiarity with the agile methodology, specifically Scrum.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Utilization of Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Knowledge of design patterns, MVC architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with unit and integration testing of Android code.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of total working experience in software development.
